The first episode, called My Pillow Bed, featured Tom’s owner and a guest having a sleepover. It was very entertaining. The group had a great time discussing the fun they had. One of their guests was Rick Timmons, from “The Incredible Hulk.” The conversation was casual and included humorous jokes. The second episode saw the team tracking down the prankcaller, who called them several times a day. The guys had a great chase to find out who the person was.

The series has also had an ongoing joke about “itting in class”. The fifth season episode called Class Act features Jack and Deb discussing what they should do with a present from their grandmother. To reward them, the ladies suggested that they get a stuffed animal and go treasure searching to find it. Jack stated that he would like an animated cat and went off and got himself an My Pillow Cat. Deb was very excited about this and even asked where she could find one.

Deb and her friend were given the task of dealing with a hoarder in the third episode, entitled The Talking Cat. The man was referred to as Mr. Squigly, and was a single person living in an apartment. Mr. Squigly was known for urinating in the kitchen all the time. When women inquired about his reason, he said that he had to go to the bathroom at night. The women tried to reason with him, but he simply ignored them. They ended up giving Mr. Squigly his latest gift, a talking cat!

Mr. Squigly was so insane that he chased after the talking cat. It scared him away. The talking cat returned moments afterward without causing any harm. Mr. Squigly was so impressed that he presented the ladies with his brand new talking cat doll. In the fourth episode of season 4, called: Scrubs, Deb had an uncharacteristic incident that took place in the hospital. She was talking with Debbie about Ace her new puppy.

When the other doctors and nurses found out that it was really Ace it sparked a major scandal. Ellen an employee of the store, came to Deb to inform her that she bought the same stuffed animal from the store. This was also an unusual incident that had nothing to do with her job. Deb later told the story on the radio, and also mentioned that she had bought the talking cat toy from the same store. Everyone had been talking about it ever since then. It was fascinating to see how an item as simple as it was could be so influential to people.
