The Talking Dog is a fun and unique way to teach your dog basic communication skills. It’s a great video for your dog to learn to speak to you as well as to other people, in addition to understanding the distinction between saying “no” and “OK.” You’ll be able to discover an entire vocabulary beyond the standard A-B-C’s that dogs can utilize. You’ll discover fascinating facts about dogs and their language through this video. The more you use this video with your dog the more it will help them learn speaking. They are able to hear what you say!

Hans Pastusz Rohen, an animal behaviorist and award-winning animal behaviorist, has created the Talking Dog video. He is a specialist in understanding the psychology of canines and how they use complex math to solve problems. His discoveries have earned numerous awards including the 1999 Breakthrough Award by the American Psychological Association (London, England) and the Royal Society of Medicine (London, England).

In The Talking Dog, von osten presents us with a bizarre anomaly: our dogs appear to be able comprehend the meaning of words even when they’ve never heard them before. He explained that the reason he came across the talking dog phenomenon was because dogs employ the same methods of processing as humans when processing information verbally. He discovered that dogs use an illusion known as the stumpfog, which is basically an abbreviation for what’s known as the “illusory hearing system”. This is basically what allows a person to understand speech when they’ve never heard of it before.

Von Osten, in The Talking Dog that dogs utilize the same method as humans in processing spoken words. The key is in their ability to connect certain sound-ixtures (like the snaps and clicks in a speech) with a visual image. Dogs use the same connections as humans to interpret visual information they receive.

To test this Von Osten recorded a variety of dog sounds and asked some dog owners to view the same things being said by a person. The video was then watched by the owners , who were asked to rate how accurately they were able to comprehend the meaning. The results were interesting: the more of an effort the dog’s owner put into listening to the sound the better their understanding of the speaker was. It appears that dogs process video and sound in a similar way. The dogs were also able to recall the names of the speakers they heard.

Von Osten also wrote books on talking dogs. The book What Every Dog Owner Must Know provides information on the experiment with talking dogs and also explains the theory. In that book, the theory is further explained, and the number of buttons or slips that are used are explained. While the concept isn’t completely new, it is still a new concept to dog owners. Many of the details are also new to me. While I’ve read about other researchers achieving similar results, I cannot confirm the validity of the idea.

In conclusion, while the book isn’t an attempt to replicate the scientific research behind the Talking Dog phenomenon, I consider it an fascinating read and believe that it is definitely worth your time. I am not a scientist, therefore I am unable to verify the truthfulness of any claims in the book. I am however extremely enthusiastic about the concept and am sure that other dog lovers will see this as a wonderful way to educate themselves on the behavior of their pet. Much like clever Hans canaries who wag throughout an interview, my dog is able to speak to anyone anytime, saying whatever comes to his mind. It’s truly amazing and I’m eager to read more books by this author, perhaps in the vein of his “Dog Whisperer” series.
