The Talking Dog is a fun and unique method to teach your dog basic communication skills. This video is a fantastic way for your dog to learn to communicate with you and others. You will also be able to teach your dog the difference between saying “no”, and “OK”. You’ll learn some fascinating facts about dogs and their languages through this video. This video will help your dog master speaking. According to the saying, they are listening!
The Talking Dog video has been created by an award winning animal behaviorist with a Ph.D. named Hans Pastusz-Rohen. He is an expert in understanding canine psychology and how they apply complex math to solve problems. His discoveries have earned him many awards including the 1999 Breakthrough Award from the American Psychological Association and the Royal Society of Medicine, both in London, England.
In The Talking Dog, von osten is able to show us a fascinating anomaly: our dogs appear to be able comprehend the meaning of words , even when they’ve never heard them before. He explains that his discovery of the talking dog phenomenon is due to the fact that dogs use the same sort of processing that humans use when processing verbal information. He discovered that dogs make use of an illusion called the stumpfog effect. This is basically a fancy name for what’s known as the “illusory auditory system.” This is what allows an average person to comprehend speech, even if they’ve never heard it before.
Von Osten, in The Talking Dog that dogs have the same brain-computer system as humans to process spoken words. The key is in their ability to connect certain sounds (like the clicks and snaps in the speech) with a corresponding visual image. Basically, dogs are using the same sort of connections that humans do trying to make sense of the visual information they’re getting.
To test this out Von Osten recorded a variety of dog sounds. He also asked some dog owners to view a video of similar things being said by a person. The owners were asked to rate how accurately they were able to comprehend the meaning of the video. The results were interesting The more effort the dog’s owner put into listening to the sound the better their understanding of the speaker was. It seems that dogs process video and sound in much the same way. The dogs were also able recall the names of speakers they heard.
In addition to talking dogs, von Osten also has written books on the topic. The book What Every Dog Owner Needs to Know contains information about the research on talking dogs as well as explanations of the theory. In the book the theory is explained and the amount of slips or buttons that are that are used are explained. The concept isn’t entirely new, but it’s new to dog owners, and a lot of the details are unfamiliar to me, too. While I have read about other researchers getting the same results, I’m not able to confirm its validity.
In conclusion, although the book is not an attempt to replicate the scientific research behind the Talking Dog phenomenon, I do find it a very fascinating read and believe that it is definitely worth your time. I am not a scientist, therefore I cannot confirm the validity of any claims made in the book. I love the concept and think it is an excellent way for dog lovers to understand their dog’s behavior. Similar to smart Hans canaries who engage in conversations My dog can talk to anyone at any time and say whatever the mind wants to. It’s amazing and I’m looking forward future books by this author, perhaps in the vein of his “Dog Whisperer” series.
